Hi, I’m Shannon!
I was originally drawn to photography because I loved looking through fashion and beauty magazines as a teen- I was inspired by the creativity and the empowerment I sensed from those editorial images. I had a lot of fun in my early photography years creating fashion and beauty images with myself and with models + friends. My interests in photography later expanded to landscape photography, weddings, and events, with landscape photography being my main focus at this time.
I believe that photography is the greatest hobby in the world. The world is your playground as a photographer-a “real life video game” that allows for endless exploration, skill building, excitement, and challenge. Plus, it’s such a cool feeling to look back at old photos and be reminded of all of the experiences you’ve had, and the people you’ve known. I know that my future self, me at the end of my life, will be so grateful for the memories.
